Scenes from a Yard Sale

No offense Dad, but yard sale people are just a little weird (YL). Ian and I had our first (um, and last) yard sale this weekend. The proceeds raised will go to pay for our new cooktop stove, which we would have had to pay for anyways in the kitchen remodel (countdown 16 days)…but now we got rid of a boat load of stuff and we paid for our cooktop, not bad for 2 days.

We had a lot of people come by – I think some of these people are professional junkers. They will buy anything!

We even had a local celebrity stop by (mothers prepare to blush and those with weak-hearts shield your eyes!), Austin’s own “Leslie” stopped by! He walked away wearing my socks and a carrying a pair of my jean shorts.

After two days in +100°F heat Ian was even ready and willing to jump in to Barton Spring’s 68°F water!

Leslie seems to wear it well! A little strange to see your underwear on someone else?

A little bit of Provincetown in Austin! Ellie would certainly approve. So glad it went well-didn't recognize a whole bunch of issb's stuff there...

haha!!! I am not going to comment about Mo's g-string collection but I will say unfortunently this isn't the first time I have seen Leslie's "assets". I too have pics of him showing the goods. The funny part is it looks like he purchased one of our donationed camera bags! It looks good on him! Ha!
