Happy Sarge Day!

Today was our one year anniversary with Sarge. When we brought him home from the shelter we were so excited!

Here is him leaving. His name was Little Bit and for a week he was known as The Dog Formerly Known as Little Bit (TDFKLB).

Thank goodness for the naming competition (which Ian likes to point out that he won). We now have Sarge. He seems to be a Sarge too, I think that the name really suits him!

We can not believe it has been a year. We have done so much. In fact, Sarge has been to 16 states: AK, CA, CT, DE, MD, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, and VA.

Today, for his birthday (he is 2 ½ we are celebrating half b-days and anniversary at once) he came with me in to work, he got lots of extra scratches, and treats. I took him over to the groomer’s for a nice bath and some TLC.

Overall it has been a wonderful year; I can barely remember life B.S. (before Sarge). He is truly a joy to be around each day. He has his weird little quirks and his bossy days, but don’t we all.
