The secret’s out...since my mug’s in the Hutch Leader.
Last year Mom and I started our own tradition of bring Christmas cheer to the town square. This year we had more help (Kay from the paper, Dennis from the Chamber and mom) but they voted and I still had the best knees (and health insurance). So up I went for my yearly pose with the Hutchinson Brothers.

One should take time to research the HUtchinson Brother (actually a part of The Hutchinson Family Singers) who founded Hutchinson in 1855. They were a nationally known family who sang protest songs (figgers why Moo takes special care of them)

They sang music of the civil war, abolutionist, temprance, and good moral (doesn't figger). There have been a number of books written on them and Googling "hutchinson family singers" brings up a whole slew of references and a picture of an era we rarely get a glimpse of.
