Well, we had our first bout of future homeowner disappointment. We put a bid on this one Wednesday and the owners were unwilling to bend whatsoever...it wasn’t the right home for us. Now on to the next one.

Sorry about the disappointment. J (wife) and I started looking at homes in Vancouver two years ago - just as the market here became really insane. The frustrations got so bad that we stopped even looking, and I ended up starting a real estate blog.
It has links to other, local RE blogs that you may find interesting. At the very least, it may make you feel better.
