This was our second trip to Lockhart. The first time we went we left late Sunday afternoon with a group of friends, when we arrived the only BBQ joint open was Black's. Now don’t get me wrong it was good. But it was no Smitty’s. This place is heralded as the best of the best. There is no sauce, there are no sides, and there is no silverware! Hey Austing Girl,
I read your comment on vancouver(un)realestate.
It looks like you enjoy living life. Make sure you take that into account when you buy your house.
Don't over leverage yourself into a mortgage that will leave you cash poor. The "fun" of the new house gets old after about a year of not having any spending money. I know from experience.
Trust your gut, if prices feel too high and you are seeing the market weaken then wait. I just sold a few months ago and I got a funny feeling the market was turning so I held off buying back in.
Check out my blog, I have feeds on my sidebar to a lot of US based RE Blogs. Some interesting stuff there.
