The Waterloo Queso Incident 2006

Ian, Jax, French and I participated in Austin Found a treasure hunt/race for charity last Sunday.

We basically went around Austin solving clues. The rules said you could only travel by foot or bus (and anyone who uses public transportation knows that buses run less on Sundays – so this was a major challenge). Below is our foot path from start to finish. According to Google Earth we went 8.04 miles total. But French did the majority of the running. (Click on the image to make the map bigger)

My good friend and former FF-PIC Jonathan Werve (click on the link and see his other work) created our beautiful logo:

In the end, we didn't come in first BUT we didn't come in last AND we had a great time!

To all you other teams: we will be back next year!

48 hours later and my collapsed arch in my left foot is allowing some pressure. French and I were moving around like a pair of 80 yr olds all day yesterday. But we had the best time!!! Like Ian said "Next year it is jogging and brain teasers in the mornings to prepare!"
